Honnibrook Craft Meadery has topped both polls, ranked #1 for Best Winery and #1 for Best Wine with Peach Habanero. “Colorado is home to more than 150 wineries, and this is a tremendous honor to make their poll results and take the top spots. Honnibrook Wins Best of Show for Colorado Wine!
August 30, 2021 – The Colorado State Fair has released its commercial wine competition results, and Best of Show for Colorado Wine goes to Honnibrook Craft Meadery. This award showcases the exceptional wines made here in Colorado using at least 75% Colorado ingredients. This year is the inaugural of the prestigious award. This year’s winner is Honnibrook’s Peach Habanero Mead. In addition to Best of Show Colorado, the Peach Habanero Mead received Best of Show Mead and Gold medal winner in the Fruit and Spice Category. Furthermore, other Honnibrook meads receiving recognition are:
- Blueberry Lavender – Silver Medal
- Prickly Pear – Silver Medal
- Boysenberry – Silver Medal
